iPlayer HD – The BBC have launched HD content on the iPlayer in the same week as our transatlantic cousins got Amazon HD. We are making major steps towards IPTV ruling the airwaves now.
Jaguar XJ – The next version of the Jaguar XJ promises modern design and lots of high tech gadgets as well as a hybrid capable of 120 g/km CO2 emissions. If only I had a hope of affording one.
Nuclear reactors in China – Westinghouse are building the first of a new generation of Nuclear reactors in China, at least someone is prepared to embrace the future of energy generation.
Wired UK – Wired magazine have launched a UK edition. If you live here I recommend a trip to WH Smith. Its a great read for the type of sophisticated amateur futurologist who reads this site!
Transparent OLEDs – Any technology that makes it more likely I will be able to buy a car with a HUD on the windscreen is a good thing. HUD’s are cool – FACT.
1 Billion Apps – Apple has shifted 1 Billion Apps! I think its safe to safe this is the way to distribute software to phones from now on.
